Try Theseus - The Enterprise SQL Engine for Petabyte-Scale Data Processing

Today, we are introducing Theseus Test Drive, a SQL editor designed to showcase the cost-saving advantages of running SQL on accelerated hardware.
In Theseus Test Drive, users can run SQL queries on NVIDIA GPUs for free. Users will be given access to a 1TB (SF 1000) dataset from the popular database benchmark TPC-H. We have pre-written all 22 queries from the benchmark to run seamlessly, but users are also free to edit or write their own SQL queries from scratch using the provided 1TB dataset.
The dataset is designed to simulate complex, real-world queries with heavy joins, sorts, and aggregations that showcase the power of accelerated systems. The cost of running TB-scale analytics is so low that Theseus Test Drive allows users to freely query a one-terabyte data set to their heart’s content.
By running the same query on Theseus, execution time is reduced to seconds. The ability to iterate rapidly enables analysts to refine reports more efficiently, test additional hypotheses, and uncover new insights that would be impractical or outside SLAs with slower query runtimes. Theseus allows analysts to run more queries at lower cost, significantly improving productivity and decision-making.
The core purpose of the Theseus Test Drive is to demonstrate where accelerated hardware makes the greatest impact on cost and efficiency.
